I have some exciting news. If you are wondering why you haven’t heard much from me of late, it’s because I have temporarily set aside my dye pots while I’m working on a new website. It’s coming together nicely, and I actually do enjoy web design, but I miss making yarn and art batts!

One of my goals with the new website is to make it easy to find whatever you’re looking for by offering several different ways to categorize all my yarn and fiber.

For yarn, I’m including the ability to search by yarn weight, yarn base, yarn collection, yarn color, and theme.

For fiber, I’m including the ability to search by type of fiber as well as by fiber preparation type (aka art batts versus handdyed top).

Am I missing anything? Is there any other way you would like to find just the right thing for the project you have in mind?

The website should be up and running within another week or two. Once it’s done, I plan to gradually move most of my yarn and fiber from Etsy to the new site.
