Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you have a beautiful day with the one you love filled with chocolate and roses and, well, yarn. Yarn is soft and warm, right? That makes it perfect for Valentine’s Day!
Yarn Giveaway
Last week, I mentioned that I was doing a giveaway of these three lovely skeins on Instagram.
I dyed all three on my Super Sport yarn base, and I think they would be fantastic for Andrea Mowry’s Shift Cowl pattern, which I’m seeing everywhere.
Before I tell you who won the giveaway, I did want to mention that I have more of these three colorways in stock right here. I have one more set for sale, and I have the colorways available as individual skeins as well. The colorways are Epiphany, A Little Princess, and Kristin Lavransdatter.
Now, without further ado, the winner of this lovely set of yarn is Stephanie at @crochetinstinct. Congratulations, Stephanie! I am sure you will crochet something amazing from these. I announced that you won on Instagram too, but if you see this, please send me an email with your address so I can get your yarn mailed right out to you.
Valentine’s Day Sale
What’s soft and warm and perfect to cuddle up with? That may or may not describe your sweetie, but it certainly does describe my Quick and Cozy Bulky Yarn. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, I’m offering 20% off all my Quick and Cozy Bulky yarn. There are no limits and no coupon codes needed. Just follow this link to the sale.
Here’s La Bohème, which is one of the colorways in the sale. Isn’t this perfect for Valentine’s Day?
Eight Days of Easter Kit
I still have quite a few spaces left for the Eight Days of Easter kits. These are so much fun! You’ll receive eight 10 gram mini skeins dyed in speckled Easter pastels and packaged inside numbered Easter eggs in an Easter basket. The kit also includes my Diamond Twist Cowl pattern. You can find the kits here.
Some New Colorways
I have been busy dyeing up some lovely new colorways and old “spring friends” as well. You can find all the newest goodies in the New This Month section of my shop.
I’ll leave you with my very favorite. It’s called Rivendell, inspired by that beautiful peaceful place in The Lord of the Rings.
Happy Valentine’s Day and happy fiber artistry!
