Good morning and happy Friday to you!
In light of this really cold weather, I decided to have a sale on Wonderful Worsted, which is my heaviest yarn base. Today through Monday, use the coupon code WW15 to take 15% off all my in-stock Wonderful Worsted yarn. If you click right here, you’ll be taken directly to the Wonderful Worsted collection, and the coupon code should magically appear in your cart.
A Personal Note
Our oldest daughter may (or may not) be in labor with her first baby. My plan has been to go down as soon as she or her husband calls to be with them and help with the baby. However, apparently ‘Baby Wiggly’ failed to check the weather forecast before sending a signal to his or her mother’s pituitary gland to start labor. We are in the midst of an ice storm, and there is no safe way to drive the 5 hours south to my daughter. Babies come when they come, but my hope is that the baby will decide to wait a couple more days so I can drive down to help. Above all, though, please pray for a safe delivery and a healthy baby. My daughter is just a week from her due date, so whenever the baby decides to make an appearance will be fine.
Just so you know, other members of my family will be staying here and shipping your orders in the usual time-frame. In fact, I have been dyeing up the club colorways early so they would be ready to go as well.
Fresh from the Dye Pot
This week, I dyed fresh batches of Rosy-Fingered Dawn, Sage, and Renaissance Festival. Here is Rosy-Fingered Dawn on Sparkly Merino Sock:
Here is Sage on Squoosh DK:
…and here is Renaissance Festival on Stained Glass Sock:
I also noticed a lovely new colorway combination while I was labeling the yarn–Pumpkin Spice Latte, Renaissance Festival, and The Winedark Sea:
I have all three of the above colorways available on both Sock Perfection and Squiggle Sock.
Eight Days of Easter Kits
I still have lots of my Eight Days of Easter kits remaining. I have been knitting up my own, and I can barely wait to share these with you!
If I can answer any questions for you, don’t hesitate to email me. See you next week. Hopefully I’ll have baby photos to share.
