Chances are you have spent much of the fall and early winter crafting beautiful gifts for your loved ones. Well, now it’s your turn. It’s time to make something beautiful just for you! This week I put together some new kits and sets to make that easy. The kits include a pattern of my own design while the sets have a link to the designer’s website or Ravelry page where you can get the pattern. Both include all the yarn you need for the project.
Angel Wings Ponchette Kit
The first kit is for my Angel Wings Ponchette pattern. This unique poncho includes Old Shale lace front and back. I put together sets of two and three skeins that really look great together.
With two skeins, you can opt for stripes or blocks of color, and with three skeins you can get more of a gradient look.

Buds and Blooms Shawl Set
The second set is Deborah Bowanko’s lovely Buds & Blooms shawl that combines beautiful lace and assigned pooling as well. The sets include the two skeins of assigned pooling yarn and a matching semi-solid to go with it.
–
Float Shawl Set
The third set is the yarn to go with Dawn Barker’s beautiful Float Shawl, which really got me inspired to start dyeing assigned pooling colorways. Not only will you find the Starry Night colorway shown here but several other wonderful assigned pooling colorways as well. This set comes with three of the same skeins with several different yarn base options.

Knitting by the Pool Ponchette Kits
Based on these sets and kits, you might get the idea that I really like assigned pooling, and you would be correct! Knitting by the Pool Ponchette makes a great introduction to assigned pooling because the double-elongated stitches are fun and easy. This kit includes the pattern, a skein of an assigned pooling colorway, and a matching colorway to go with it.

Metamorphosis Shawl Kit
This next one is one is a kit for my Metamorphosis Shawl. So far I just have the kit available in the original Peacock Feathers and Peacock Eyes colorways, but I may add more later.
When I made this pattern, my goal was a really fun knit with lots of variety. The kit includes the pattern plus two skeins each of Peacock Feathers and Peacock Eyes on your choice of several different yarn bases.

Pools of Color Set
Next up is Deborah Bowanko’s shawlette called Pools of Color. For this pattern you’ll need one skein of Crocuses in Snow plus 2 mini skeins of Eggplant for the beautiful lace edge.

Sunflowers of Hope Set
Last but certainly not least is the yarn for Lena Mathisson’s beautiful shawl, Sunflowers of Hope. The shawl calls for two skeins of my Sunflower colorway, and I’m offering it in all of my smooth sock-weight yarn bases. From the time when Lena published this beautiful pattern, she has been donating 25% of the proceeds to a charity that is helping Ukrainian refugees.
All of these are dyed to order, so please allow 2-3 weeks for me to get them dyed up and shipped off to you. The fact that I’m doing more dyed to order colorways is really what made these kits and sets possible in the first place!
I hope you find just the right project to start the new year so you can make something cozy that you’ll love to wear for years to come! Happy New Year!
