Good morning, and happy Labor Day weekend!
I think of Labor Day as the beginning of fiber arts season. Of course many of us knit and spin and weave and crochet all year long, but Labor Day weekend is when we really start thinking about what to make our loved ones for Christmas and the whole holiday season.
The beautiful things we all make for our loved ones are a labor of love, right?
This year especially there is love in the air because our oldest daughter and her wonderful fiancé are getting married tomorrow! I can hardly believe the day is almost here after months of preparation. Here they are:
While our whole family celebrates the love between these two wonderful young people, you can get started with all the joy and the labor of creating gifts made for those you love.
To make that easier, I’m having a big sale on all my hand-dyed yarn and hand-dyed top today through Labor Day Monday.
Just use the coupon code LABOROFLOVE2021 when you check out to take 20% off my hand-dyed yarn and hand-dyed top. Click here to have the coupon code added to your cart.
I should mention that because of the wedding, it may take me a little longer than usual to get the orders out after the sale than it usually does, but I’ll do my best to get them out within the week.
Advent Calendars
Last week, I mentioned that I had my Yarn and Fiber Advent Calendars available as preorders in the shop. Just to be clear, they are not part of the 20% off sale, but they are going quickly. In fact, I ran some calculations and figured out that I could add a few more Spinner’s Advent Calendars. You can find both the Yarn and the Spinner’s Advent Calendars here.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Happy Labor Day and happy fiber arts season!
