Good morning and happy Friday to you. This week I just want to tell you about the July club colorway and also show you a few new items in the shop.
We are doing another Mary Cassatt this month. My mom had a copy of it hanging on her wall, and I have always loved it. It’s called, “Children Playing on the Beach.”
Isn’t this lovely and perfect for summer?
What’s New in the Shop
This week, I dyed After the Rain, which is one of my favorites. Here it is on Sparkly Merino Sock:
I also dyed Annunciation Blue, which goes so beautifully with so many different colorways. It’s one of my core colors you might say. Here it is on So Silky Sock:
Additionally, I dyed up new batches of my Ukraine colorways, Sunflower and Freedom Blue, so I now have those on nearly every yarn base. They would go beautifully with Van Gogh’s Still Life with Two Sunflowers too, which I showed you a couple weeks ago. I still have that available on a few yarn bases.
I’m also trying to keep all the butterfly colorways in stock, so as one colorway sells out, I dye up a new batch of it. I’ll be dyeing up a couple of them today, but if you need more than I have in stock, please email me to let me know.
As I write this, Autumn Leaves and Beautiful Universe are in the steamers, so I should have those listed by Monday if not before.
It may seem strange to be dyeing up Autumn Leaves in June, but I’m trying to get a head start on the DFW Fiber Fest at the end of September. Of course some of us love fall colorways all year long, right? Here is Autumn Leaves from the last time I dyed it on Squoosh DK:
On a Personal Note
Please pray for my sister. She is in the hospital, but she is doing a lot better now. I’m going back and forth visiting her, so if you don’t get a response from me right away, that’s why. Rest assured that I am checking my emails each day, and I am shipping your orders on my usual schedule.
Stay well, and happy fiber artistry!
