Do you remember those Choose Your Own Adventure books we all read when we were kids? Well, this time you get to choose your own yarn adventure instead, which I think you will agree is infinitely better!
I’m giving away ONE of these skeins of yarn. When you enter to win, you can choose your favorite, and that’s the one I will send you if you win.
Which one do you like best?
The yarn on the left is Venice, dyed on my Soft & Strong Sock base, which is made of 75% superwash merino, 15% nylon, and 10% tencel. It is a 4-ounce skein with 433 yards.
The yarn in the middle is Purple Iris, which I dyed on my Sparkly Merino Sock base. This is a very sparkly sock-weight yarn made of 92% superwash merino and 8% lurex. It’s 4 ounces and 409 yards.
The yarn on the right is Lothlorien, dyed on my Buttery Soft DK base, which is made of 45% baby alpaca, 45% extra-soft 19.5 micron merino, and 10% mulberry silk. This is NOT superwash and should be washed by hand only, but man, is it soft. This is a 3.5-ounce DK-weight yarn that has 245 yards.
You can get more information about each of these yarns by following the links above, and you can enter to win below. All you have to do to enter is choose your favorite of the three skeins of yarn and give me your email address so I can let you know who the winner is. You can get extra points and increase your chances of winning by doing the other optional items listed below.
Please note that while I will absolutely never give your email address to anyone, I will be subscribing you to my weekly email newsletter when you enter. The newsletter features secret coupon codes for subscribers only, interviews with pattern designers, featured patterns, sales announcements, and info about what’s new at Purple Lamb. What’s not to love? And yet, I make it very easy to unsubscribe if it isn’t your thing.
Thanks for the chance to win this beautiful yarn!
You’re welcome, Sandy!
Yours yarns are beautiful!
Thank you, Heather!
love all 3 of these skeins and I especially love the name of your shop and website
Thank you, Knitting Dancer. I love that name too. My original business name was Monet’s Garden Art Yarns, but it was an awfully big mouthful, so I decided to go with Purple Lamb because it was short, fun, and well, purple, which is my favorite color.
I’ve been to Venice and the water really is that blue from the yarn!
Thank you, Wendy! It’s amazing, isn’t it? The immediate inspiration for the yarn, Venice, was from a painting we have of Venice, but I got to go there for Carnevale some 25 years ago, and it was a delight!
