Good morning!

I hope your neck of the woods hasn’t been quite as hot as my neck of the woods, but if it has been, then I wish you the best of air conditioned bliss in which to spin, felt, knit, crochet, weave, or all of the above.

I am getting ready to introduce a couple of wonderful new yarn bases. One is a lusciously soft sock-weight base made of baby alpaca, cashmere, and silk–all three together!!! The wholesale company that carries this yarn base said it was softer than buttered kittens, which seems about right! You know I carry only soft yarn, but this is the absolute softest yarn I’ve ever felt. I wish you could feel it through the screen.

The other yarn base I’ll be adding soon is a wonderful textured base that reminds me a lot of the brushed mohair that’s so popular right now. However, it’s even better because instead of mohair (which can feel itchy) the fabulous texture is made using baby alpaca while the core yarn is a wonderful strong silk.

Here’s the catch to all this wonderfulness–I don’t have room to carry two more bases. So, I’m having a big BUY 2, GET 1 FREE SALE in order to make room.

The sale includes some of every yarn base I have and all of some yarn bases. I’m sad to announce that I’m going to be discontinuing both Donegal Sock and Donegal DK, so get them while you can. The sale also includes kits, hand-dyed top, art batts, and even my handspun yarn.
