Good morning and happy Friday to you! I hope my newsletter finds you safe and well.
Today I have a few new goodies in the shop to show you, and I’d like to get your opinion on something as well. I have been dyeing fall colorways as well as the all-year-long colorways.
The Butterflies are Back!
I dyed up five butterfly colorways on Stained Glass Sock. All five together make a great butterfly fade, but you can also pick any combination of colorways. They all go together. I listed some individually and some as a set.

From left to right, the colorways are Zebra Longwing, Indian Jezebel, Quino Checkerspot, Monarch, and Colorado Hairstreak. Indian Jezebel and Colorado Hairstreak are assigned-pooling colorways. In the listings here, I have a few pattern suggestions for all five colorways together.
.
Enchanted Forest and Peacock Feathers
I also dyed Enchanted Forest on several yarn bases this week, including my super fun textured yarn base, Squiggle Sock, for the first time in a long time:

.
I dyed more Peacock Feathers too on five different yarn bases, including Sock Perfection shown here:

I really like Enchanted Forest and Peacock Feathers together! Here they are on Sock Perfection:

In fact, I’m working on a new pattern design that uses one skein of an assigned pooling colorway and one variegated colorway, and I’m using these two together for a sample.
.
A New Art Batt
A couple weeks ago when I showed a photo of Autumn Leaves on Facebook and Instagram, I had a few people ask if I could create this colorway as an art batt, so I did. Here it is:

You can see both the yarn and the art batts right here. If you spin and weave, I think it would be great fun to spin these up and use the handspun for weft along with the hand-dyed version of Autumn Leaves as warp.
.
Advent Calendars
I still have a number of Advent calendars left. These will be based on Aragorn’s journey through The Lord of the Rings. They’ll include a beautiful beaded knitting shawl pattern plus 24 minis, one full-sized skein on your choice of several yarn bases, and all the beads you’ll need for the shawl. You can learn more about them right here.

Your Opinion Please
I would love to get your opinion on a couple of possible colorways for fall. The first is called Chocolate. It’s a colorway I have made in the past, and I’m trying to decide whether to make it again this fall. Here is Chocolate with Autumn Leaves:

Is Chocolate a colorway you would enjoy using?
The second colorway possibility is the background color of the Peacock Feathers, so just the top section without the “eyes.” Is that a colorway you would enjoy using?

I would be grateful if you would email me your thoughts!
I think that’s everything. I hope you have a great week. Happy fiber artistry!
